Job description
Key Responsibilities
Document Management
Develop, implement, and maintain robust document control systems tailored to project needs.
Ensure all documentation adheres to organizational and project-specific standards.
Track and manage revisions, updates, and approvals of project documentation to maintain version control.
Coordination and Distribution
Collaborate with internal teams, directors, and external stakeholders to facilitate the seamless exchange of information.
Distribute documents to relevant parties while maintaining accurate and up-to-date distribution logs.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all document-related queries and requests.
Quality Assurance
Review and verify the accuracy, completeness, and format of all documents.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and project-specific requirements.
Focus Areas
Engineering: Manage and archive engineering documentation, including technical designs, drawings, and specifications.
Quality: Ensure systematic recording and accessibility of quality assurance documentation for reviews and audits.
Health & Safety: Organize and control health and safety documentation, including compliance records and incident reports.
Technical Expertise
Demonstrate proficiency in document control software and project management tools, such as Aconex.
Leverage IT systems to streamline documentation processes and ensure efficiency.
Industry Knowledge
Bring a strong background in the construction industry with familiarity in handling technical drawings, contracts, and compliance documents.
Possess comprehensive knowledge of local regulatory frameworks, construction standards, and industry best practices in the GCC region.
Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience in document control within the construction sector.
Hands-on expertise with Aconex or similar document management systems is highly desirable.
Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Residency within the GCC region, with a deep understanding of local construction and regulatory requirements.
