Lead and manage civil and structural design engineering activities for Oil & Gas projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Oversee the FEED and detailed engineering phases of projects, providing technical guidance and ensuring the delivery of high-quality design solutions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop design concepts, specifications, and drawings.
Conduct design reviews and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and address any design-related queries.
Ensure all designs meet safety, quality, and environmental standards, implementing best practices throughout the design process.
Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 18 years of relevant experience in civil and structural design engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
Proven experience with ADNOC projects is mandatory; holding ADNOC approval is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of industry codes, standards, and practices related to civil and structural engineering.
Proficiency in design software and tools relevant to civil and structural engineering (e.g., AutoCAD, SAP2000, STAAD Pro).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
