Prepare and issue RFQs and RFPs for instrumentation packages. Carry out technical and commercial evaluations of bids received from suppliers.
Negotiate price, terms, and delivery schedule.
Ensure the timely product/equipment delivery as per the project’s timeline.
Coordinate with different discipline engineers to ensure that the requirements to be procured are as per the design and project’s specifications.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of procurement experience in the oil and gas sector, with a focus on instrumentation and control systems, ICSS, Field Instrument, Telecommunication System and Bulk Instrumentation.
Knowledge in ERP software or customized Procurement System for easy tracking of transactions.
Proven knowledge of sourcing strategies, vendor negotiations, and technical evaluation of instrumentation.
