Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop effective sales strategies and tactics tailored to the insurance industry.
Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients within the B2B and B2C segments, including businesses, organizations, and individual consumers seeking insurance coverage.
Lead Generation: Utilize various channels, including networking events, cold calling, digital marketing, and referrals, to generate leads and opportunities for new business.
Consultative Selling: Understand the unique needs and requirements of prospective clients and recommend suitable insurance solutions to meet their specific objectives.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support, guidance, and assistance to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline effectively, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and tracking opportunities through the sales process to closure.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to track performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and drive informed decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the insurance industry.
Strong understanding of insurance products, regulations, and market dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., Insurance Broker License) are preferred.
