Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of technicians and tradespeople in the manufacturing and production of MEP systems.
Production Scheduling: Coordinate and prioritize production schedules to ensure timely delivery of modular components according to project timelines.
Collaboration: Work with project managers, engineering teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems into modular units.
Quality Control: Conduct site inspections, maintain quality standards, and ensure MEP systems comply with specifications and industry standards.
Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with HSE standards to maintain a safe working environment.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the modular construction process, collaborating with teams to find effective solutions.
Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including progress reports, change orders, daily logs, and quality control documentation.
Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates on production status, challenges, and solutions to project stakeholders.
Material Management: Assist in managing procurement, delivery, and storage of MEP materials, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors as needed.
Team Development: Mentor and train team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Performance Monitoring: Review and report on team performance, ensuring adherence to production budgets and efficiency control requirements.
Sustainability Initiatives: Promote sustainable practices within the MEP production process in alignment with environmental standards and goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: ONC or NVQ in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Proven experience in modular construction and MEP system production, with strong knowledge of modular construction principles.
Construction Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, methods, and modular construction techniques.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to challenges.
Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
